Youth Filmmakers Showcase

What You Need to Know

Are you a young or aspiring filmmaker? This is your chance to show us what you can do with a camera, your imagination, and maybe a little help from your friends. If you’re a young resident of BC we want to see your work! Find the application form below.

The 2020 Youth Filmmakers Showcase will take place in April.

Submissions are now open!

Simply upload your film to your YouTube or Vimeo account, and send the link along with your entry form to education[at]r2rfestival.org. If selected as a finalist, your film will be showcased on the big screen during the festival, and will be eligible to win great prizes!

What You Could Win

Some of the incredible prizes you could win that will assist you in your journey of filmmaking include:

*A Gear Base camera rental package
*A Rode Microphone
*A Cineworks production membership
*A scholarship pass to a film camp hosted by Young Moviemakers
*And many more!

There’s also an audience award for the most popular film, and only those in attendance get to vote.
